Shockingly, over 840 million people still lack access to electricity, while more than 3 billion people live in countries with per capita energy consumption below the Modern Energy Minimum of 1,000kwh per year. This highlights the need for continued efforts to expand access to renewable energy and ensure that everyone has access to this basic necessity.
